Julafton i ”Loten”
Erik och två av hans yngre bröder släpar hem julgranen på en släde, Eriks pappa John och hans gammelfarbror Fredrik (titta på yxan i hans hand) gör dem sällskap. De välkomnas hem av farfar Abraham och farmor Henrika. Eriks mamma Eugenia över julsånger på sin orgel, lillasyster Margith står beredd med toppstjärnan till granen och minstingen Paul leker med en liten julbock. Det Patricia tycker bäst om i den här scenen är den kärleksfulla blick storebror Erik ger sin lillebror Martin när de tillsammans med brodern Harry kämpar med släden.

”Loten” är Patricias man Eriks födelsehem i Norrland. Han och hans fyra yngre syskon växte upp i ett hem med tre generationer, hans föräldrar, farföräldrar och hans farfars bror. Dockhuset är ett Lundby från sent 60-tal och är inte en exakt kopia av ”Loten”. De flesta möblerna är Lundby, dockorna är Caco eller Erna Meyer och juldekorationerna är gjorde av Tina Stuve, titta på de bilderna nedan. Några av väggbonaderna är minibilder av vävnader och broderier som gått i arv från Eriks familj. Vävstolen är gjord av en svensk hantverkare, Conny, från Ting i Trä.

Christmas Eve in “Loten”
Erik and two of his younger brothers are hauling their Christmas Tree home on a sled, accompanied by Erik’s father, John, and his Great-Uncle Fredrik (see the axe in his hand). Grandfather Abraham and Grandmother Henrika are welcoming them. Mamma Eugenia is practicing carols on her organ, while little sister Margith is waiting with the star and baby Paul is playing with a miniature Christmas Goat. Patricia’s favorite part of this scene is the loving look Big Brother Erik is giving little brother Martin while they pull with all their might, helped by little brother Harry pushing the sled'

“Loten” is the birth home in Norrland of Patricia’s husband, Erik. He and his 4 younger siblings grew up in a home with three generations, including his parents, his paternal grandparents, and his grandfather’s brother. The dollhouse is a Lundby from the late 1960’s, and is not an exact copy of his house. Most of the furniture is Lundby, the dolls are all Caco or Erna Meyer, and the Christmas decorations were made by Tina Stuve, as shown in separate photos. Some of the wall hangings are mini photos of actual weavings and embroidered pictures inherited from Erik’s family. The loom was made by a Swedish craftsman, Conny, of Ting i Trä.
