Lundby Norrland 1990
Patricia och Erik firar Halloween och roas av grannbarnens 'Bus eller Godis'- besök.

Norrland har inretts med de möbler och tillbehör som mest påminner om de som fanns i deras eget 'norrlandshus'. Patricia och Erik bodde i Björklinge i ett hus tillverkat av Nickelhus. Det enda som skiljer Patricias hus från Lundby Norrland var att deras hus var traditionellt svenskt falurött med vita knutar. Och det finns ytterligare en anknytning, Erik är född i Norrland!

Eftersom Lundby inte har tillverkat Halloween-tillbehör har Patricia improviserat. På detaljbilden (tredje bilden nerifrån) visas pumpor och småspöken från Tina Stuve. På sista bilden syns en litet spöke och en häxa som kommer från Sylvanian families, därifrån kommer även en del av tillbehören. Övriga barnfigurer är moderna från Playmobil och tillhör Patricias barnbarn Paddy.
Den hängande pumpan med belysning, det höstfärgade trädet, Halloweenstaket och löven på marken är från en lokal hobbyaffär.

Moderna Lundbydockor får representera Patricia och Erik eftersom de är mer 'look-a-like' än de dockor som såldes till Norrlandshuset.

Norrland has been furnished with items most closely resembling the furniture and accessories they had in their own A-frame home, made by Nickelhus, in Björklinge, Sweden. The only difference between the Lundby Norrland and Patricia’s own home is that her Björklinge house was red with white trim, very traditional in Sweden. In addition, there is a further connection to this Lundby dollhouse: Erik was born in Norrland, Sweden.

Since Lundby has not made any Hallowe’en items, Patricia had to improvise. The small ghosts and jack-o-lanterns shown in detail on the white table, were hand-made by Tina Stuve. The trick-or-treaters dressed like a witch and a ghost are Calico Critters, as are some of the decorations. The other children are all modern Playmobil figures belonging to Patricia’s grandson: Cleopatra, a Mummy, cop, cowboy, pirate, wizard, and queen. The orange-leafed tree, lighted pumpkin hanging from the balcony, the fence pieces, and fallen leaves are all modern items purchased from local hobby/craft stores.

Modern Lundby dolls representing Patricia and Erik have been used because they more closely resemble the “real people” than the grandparent dolls sold at the same time as the Norrland dollhouse.
