Ett helt underbart Lundby med takterass! Det här dockhuset är Willemiens första Lundby hon inrett och hon håller nu på med ett Lundby till! Efter 20 års dockskåpssamlande upptäckte hon Lundby på en Sverigesemester förra året - och blev kär direkt. Jag förstår precis vad som hände!

Terasshuset KAN vara senare 1968 - men det är en god gissning just nu utifrån andra hus jag har, så det får stå 1968 tills vi vet bättre.

Jag tycker att Willemien lyckats väldigt bra med sitt första Lundby-projekt, alla Lundbymöbler är från samma period (sent 60-tal till tidigt 70-tal) som huset. Och det är personligt inrett med tillbehör. Willemien har tillverkat de extra handukarna i badrummet och den fina kökshanduken samt sängkläderna till den vita gästsängen.

Sidebordet i vardagsrummet (med tv) är en lite äldre Lerromöbel, den och lilla bokhyllan är inköpta hos Toy Cabinet i Stockholm sommaren 2005, en verklig trevlig souvenir! I vardagsrummet finns det en pall som troligtvis är holländsk. En hel del Lundbymöbler kommer från Antje. Småsakerna i gästrummet och fiskskålen är köpta på dockskåpsmässa och tavlan i gästrummet är förstås en Lisa.

De två sista bilderna visar hur dockhuset såg ut när Willemien fick det och hur hon renoverade vardagsrummet, snyggt gjort. Dockhuset köpte hon faktiskt själv på en loppmarknad för många år sedan och gav till en dockskåpsamlande vän - och fick det till sin stora glädje tillbaka i höstas!

Lundby Terrace House 1968

A completely wonderful Lundby with a roof terrace! This doll's house is the first Lundby Willemien has furnished, and now she is working on another one!!
After 20 years of collecting doll's houses, she discovered Lundby during a vacation in Sweden last year, and fell immediately in love! I understand exactly what happened!

This Terrace House may be a later one than 1968, but compared to other houses I have, I am pretty sure that it is from 1968, so we can leave it like that until we know more.
I think Willemien succeeded really well with her first Lundby project: all the Lundby furniture is from the same time period (late 1960's to early 1970's) as the house. It has been decorated personally ; for example, Willemien made the extra towels in the bathroom, the fine hand-towel in the kitchen, and the bedding for the white bed in the guest room.
The sideboard in the living room (with the TV on it) is an older Lerro piece, which was purchased, as well as the little bookshelf, at the Toy Cabinet in Stockholm during the summer of 2005, truly a lovely souvenir! There is a little stool in the living room which is most likely from The Netherlands. Willemien bought a great deal of the Lundby furniture from Antje. The small items in the guest room and the fishbowl were bought at a Doll's House Fair and the picture in the guest room is, of course, from Lisa of Denmark.

The last two pictures show what the doll's house looked like when Willemien first bought it, and how well she renovated the living room. She actually bought the doll's house herself at a flea market several years ago and gave it to a friend who collects doll's houses; then to her great joy, it was returned to her last Autumn!
