This is one of many variations of the dollshouse manufactured in 1971. It was a very special year with many new releases: for example, the first furniture designs for the 1970's, the first curtains and wall-to-wall carpeting, and the first year that plastic doors were used + the door handles were a different color.

The family who lives in this house likes bright colors and is willing to blend different styles together. All of the furniture was newly released in 1971, except for the kitchen and bathroom. Look at the bedroom furniture which was completely made of wood in 1971, even the little drawers, and the blue Leksand furniture which had a flower decal the first year it came out.
